New Players (February 18, 2009)
LMB is pleased to welcome to its ranks some new and returning players for the 2009 season.
On Euphonium we welcome Gareth Davies along with his partner Anne Marie Smith on Soprano. Gareth and Anne have recently moved to the locality as Gareth has taken up a position of a Pharmacist in a Rhondda Pharmacy. Both have not regularly played for some 5 years due attending University.
On tenor horn it’s the return of Dill Brimble, who played for the Band in the 80’s, before joining the Parc & Dare band.
Finally we welcome Ken Sharples on Solo Baritone, formally of the Mid Rhondda and Treherbert Bands. Ken was for many years an Army Musician, before his return home to the Rhondda. Click here to return to the News page
