Andrew Gardner Retires (November 18, 2008)
The members of the Band were very sorry that ill-health has resulted in the recent retirement of the band’s talented solo euphonium player, Andrew Gardner. The Band wishes Andrew well and thanks him for his valued efforts. The search is now on to find a replacement. The Band has virtually a full complement of players, however, any experienced brass or percussion instrumentalist who would like to join an ambitious organisation should contact the Chairman, David Arnold on 07974 834058 or email on ‘lewsismerthyrband@googlemail.com’ for further information.
